Spring Chia Breakfast

The goal of Ayurvedic food preparation is to nourish all 5 elements in the body: Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth.Here you get a glimpse of how to play with the 6 tastes, tastes that we want to include in all our meals, in different proportions to balance each person's individual constitution.


Ingredients


- 1/4 cup chia seeds

- 1 1/2 cup non dairy milk

- Himalayan salt

- cinnamon powder

- ginger powder

- sesame seeds

- peach, pineapple or berries


Instructions


In a jar, mix chia seeds with non dairy milk. Stir often in the first 10mn to avoid clumping. Put in the fridge until the morning or use right away.


Add 1/4 of the chia pudding to a bowl (sweet),

sprinkle some cinnamon and powdered ginger (pungent),

a pinch of pink salt (salty),

1/2 teaspoon of sesame seeds (sweet, bitter and astringent),

and 1/2 peach or some pineapple and/ or berries (sweet, sour and astringent).
