There is nothing I have fallen in love more than my Ayurvedic self care. I love how grounded and supported I feel starting and ending the day with these practices, and the fact that I have a set, daily routine to follow. It sets my mind at ease.
The trap is to think of them as a burden or to try to do it all when you're just starting. Instead, let yourself be held by the ancient wisdom of these practices, and remember that self care is instrumental is mental and physical wellness. Start with one or two, and continue adding up every few weeks or whenever they are all installed.
While it may feel more important to focus on the way we start the day, don't neglect evening routines: the way we regulate and support ourselves after a day out and about matters just as much in the big picture of health.
